On May 5, 2021, Castroville State Bank held a blood drive for the Castroville Community. With the recent blood shortage due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, CSB reached out to see if Security State Bank would be interested in supporting the blood drive to help make it a success. So several SSB employees from the Castroville Branch decided to donate and do their part. The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center has been making giving from the heart their mission for the past 45 years. The gift of blood can make a difference in the lives of cancer and transplant patients, trauma victims, newborns and moms, COVID-19 patients, and so many others! Each donation has the potential to save three lives!
